A damaged or foggy window doesn’t always require a costly replacement of the entire frame. At Davis Glass Solutions, we specialize in targeted glass replacement and window reglazing to restore the clarity, insulation, and appearance of your home’s existing windows—saving you the hassle and expense of a full window teardown.
Residential Glass Services We Provide
Foggy Insulated Units (IGU Replacement):
When condensation or a dirty haze builds up between the panes of a double-pane window, it means the thermal seal has failed. We replace just the sealed glass unit inside your existing frame, restoring your view and energy efficiency.
Single-Pane Glass Replacement:
We provide clean, precise single-pane glass replacements for standard home window styles, restoring clarity and protection to older window frames.
Tempered & Safety Glass:
For areas requiring building code compliance—such as patio doors, stairways, or glass near tubs and showers—we install durable tempered or laminated safety glass.
Important Service & Material Disclaimers
Window Shape & Style Scope:
We specialize in standard rectangular and square residential window glass replacements. We do not service custom curved, arched, half-round, octagonal, or other non-standard/oddly shaped windows (radius glass), nor do we service RV, camper, or automotive glass. We are able to service triangle and trapezoid shaped windows but these typically take longer than a standard window glass replacement.
Aged Window Trim & Stops:
During the reglazing process, existing window stops (the interior wood, vinyl, or plastic trim securing the glass) must be removed. On older or sun-exposed windows, these pieces often become dry-rotted and brittle, which can cause them to crack or snap during removal.
Because many older window parts are discontinued by manufacturers, exact replacement stops are frequently impossible to source. Davis Glass Solutions cannot be held responsible for brittle or pre-damaged stops that break during repair, and any alternative trim materials required will be the homeowner’s responsibility.
